Recipe | Peach Clafoutis

The easiest French fruit tart recipe you will ever try! From blender to oven to your fork (desert fork that is, obviously)

1 1/4 cups milk
1 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
vanilla pod seeds
sprinkle of salt
1/2 cup flour
2 big ripe peaches, sliced (you can use pretty much any fruit you want though)
sprinkle of nutmeg

Whilst the oven heats up (180 degrees C), mix the milk, 2/3 of the sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, salt and flour in a mixer.

In a buttered baking dish, pour the mixed batter about 2 fingers high off the bottom. Place in the oven for about 3 minutes until a film forms on top of the batter.

Afterwards, take the baking dish out, putting the peaches in, sprinkle the rest of the sugar on top and then pour on the batter.

Now, you just need patience for about 50 minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy with ice cream for some extra decadence. :)
